My new EP, True Stories of Time Travel, comes out next Friday, but it's available for pre-order now!
What the hell does that mean, King?
Well I'm glad you asked, imaginary voice in my head. It means you can go to thekingteen.bandcamp.com and pre-order the EP. You'll get to download one song right now and the other four when the record drops for real next Friday.
The song you'll get to download right away is the sort-of title track, Time Traveler's Blues.
Another thing you can do is pre-order a physical copy of the EP in the popular CD format. I gotta be honest, I don't know if you get to download Time Traveler's Blues when you do that, but I think you do, and then you can download the rest of the songs next Friday, and you'll get the CD in the U.S. mail a few days after that. And some stickers!
I told you I'd be showing you the other panels in the 4-panel CD case as the release date got closer, and I will but first let me remind you about a show I'm playing THIS Friday, which is either tomorrow or today, depending on when you open this:

Blood Red River are celebrating their 20th birthday, same date and same venue where they played their first gig. If you like The Cramps and The Mekons and Dick Dale and bands that put on a good show you'll like them. You'll also like The Malamondos, who are like BRR's evil twin from Greensboro, and Severed Fingers, who come at a similar vibe from more of a country angle. It's gonna be a good show.
It starts at 8 p.m. sharp with me. And even though my official record release show isn't till next month, I'll be selling CDs of True Stories of Time Travel at the show.
You can see all four panels of the CD package at Bandcamp, but I promised so I'll show you another one here. It's the inside left, which includes the credits and me acting out one of my adventures from Time Traveler's Blues.

Here's some fun trivia that I'll hope they make note of in the exhibition about me at the Smithsonian someday: There's an error in the credits. I have Paco Marvelli listed as playing pedal steel when he was really playing lap steel.
Before you say anything, imaginary voice in my head: Yes, I know the difference. I just messed up. Paco has kindly offered to re-record his part using pedal steel if I buy him one. They're only a few thousand bucks.
The lap steel sounds great!
Thanks for reading and listening and coming on out.
