I know I was just in your mailbox this weekend but I wanted to let you know you can hear me on the radio not just tonight, which you knew already, but tomorrow night. It’s The King Teen Radio Tour 2026, First Leg, because I’m doing another radio show next month.
The one you knew about, loyal New Sledder reader, is tonight on Stuck in Rotation, a live music show on NextDoorRadio.com out of Oxford North Carolina. If you’re in the area you can come to the show at Ox4d Music neighborhood record store at 125 Main St. If not you can listen to it live at this link starting at 8 pm EDT.
New news for New Sledder sledders is that I’ll be on the Whammy Douglas Radio Hour Friday night at 9 pm on WCOM, 103.5 FM Carrboro North Carolina. Thats like old-school radio, with sound waves traveling through the air or however that works.
I don’t know how close you have to be to the Drakeford Library Building to hear that station, but if you’re not close enough you can go to wcomfm.org and click Listen Live. In that case I should mention that the 9 pm is the one on Eastern time so if you’re in Madagascar, click the link at 4 am. Adjust to your own time zone accordingly.
The Whammy Douglas Radio Hour is a studio show but I’ll also be playing a few songs and talking to the hosts, whose most recent guest was the incredible Luis Rodriguez, the most sought-after guitar player in the Triangle but far more famous for playing trumpet on The Ballad of Pnut & Salty, my duet with Mimi Kramer of Supermutt on the EP True Stories of Time Travel, which I may have mentioned is available for streaming and purchase at Bandcamp and Subvert.fm.
See you on the radio! Thanks for reading and listening and coming on out.
Your friend,
The King Teen
